It’s time for another fight inside a large, second floor lab within The University of Alabama’s Science and Engineering Complex.
The University of Alabama will welcome students, parents, alumni and visitors to campus during Homecoming Week 2012, to be held from Sunday, Oct. 21, to Saturday, Oct. 27. This year’s theme is “Timeless Traditions.”
The University of Alabama Community Service Center is kicking off the 19th annual Beat Auburn Beat Hunger food drive Monday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Ferguson Plaza, Reese Phifer and Lloyd Halls.

Dr. Bharat Balasubramanian, long-time automotive technology researcher and development engineer at Daimler AG, joined the faculty in The University of Alabama College of Engineering, bringing decades of industry experience into the classroom and labs.
Guest speaker Dr. Robert M. Ortega, associate professor of social work at the University of Michigan, will give a talk, “Finding the Place for Humility in Culturally Responsive Practice,“ Monday, Oct. 8 at noon in 104 Little Hall.
Tuscaloosa County probate judge candidates Hardy McCollum and Ted Sexton will speak as guests of The University of Alabama journalism department in October.
