The University of Alabama will host its annual High School German Day on Monday, March 2 at the Ferguson Center with some 350 high school students from across the state expected to be on campus to participate in the event.
The University of Alabama and UAB joint master’s in art history program is presenting the 14th annual Graduate Student Symposium in Art History Friday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in 205 Gorgas Library on the UA campus.
One of the world’s largest collections of 20th-century African-American Art, the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art, will be on display at The University of Alabama and Stillman College in March. It will be the first UA exhibition of the collection since Jones donated it to the University in October 2008.

The event, part of the Alabama Perspectives on Sustainability and Climate Change lecture series, is free and open to the public.
A finale event for The University of Alabama’s Capstone Creed Week will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 11:45 a.m. in the Ferguson Center ballroom on campus.
