UA Physics and Astronomy to Host Public Viewings During Lunar Eclipse

The University of Alabama’s department of physics and astronomy invites community members to two viewings of the moon and planets through UA telescopes during the total lunar eclipse on Monday, April 14, and Tuesday, April 15, on the fourth floor of Gallalee Hall on the UA campus.

Alabama Citizens to Pay Tribute to Dr. Edward O. Wilson at UA

Citizens from throughout Alabama, including Crimson Tide great Bobby Humphrey, will join together for an evening of storytelling and sharing discoveries about Alabama’s natural world to honor Alabama native son and internationally recognized biodiversity expert Dr. Edward O. Wilson. The tribute is part Edward O. Wilson Week at The University of Alabama April 21-25.
