Sean Hudson, a senior social work major at The University of Alabama, recently won the Influencing State Policy national essay award for his advocacy of the proposed Alabama state bill “Fostering Success Act.”
“Workforce Training in a Recovering Economy,” released by the Education Policy Center at The University of Alabama, details the perceptions of state officials across the nation who are responsible for coordination and supervision of community colleges.
Dr. E.O. Wilson, a University of Alabama alumnus and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner who is widely considered one of the world’s most influential scientists, will visit UA as a scholar-in-residence with the College of Arts and Sciences Sept. 11-12.
