The University of Alabama won the 2013 Beat Auburn Beat Hunger Food Drive by collecting 299,398 pounds of food to top Auburn University’s collection of 169,702 pounds of food.

UA’s Circle K Student Group Offers Luminaries on the Quad

The University of Alabama Circle K student organization will host its annual Luminaries on the Quad event from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. During this community service leadership project, Circle K members arrange thousands of luminary candles on the Quad between Denny Chimes and Gorgas Library and along University Boulevard. The event is free and open to the public.
