UA Homecoming Parade Time Set
The University of Alabama Homecoming Parade will begin at noon on Saturday, Oct. 8, prior to the UA football game against Vanderbilt University at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 6 p.m.

The College of Communication and Information Sciences’ Diversity Forum and the UA Women’s Resource Center will sponsor the screening of “Latino in America 2: In Her Corner,” as part of the University’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The National Weather Service will conduct a Basic Storm Spotter class for Tuscaloosa County on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at The University of Alabama’s Bryant Conference Center.

Insurance Day 2011 will be Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Bryant Conference Center at The University of Alabama, and it will feature Winston Groom, author of the novel “Forrest Gump,” as the luncheon speaker.
Renowned rock musicians John Kay and Michael Wilk of Steppenwolf will offer a lecture and performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in The University of Alabama’s Moody Music Building Concert Hall.
The University of Alabama will host a General Interest and Business Career Fair Sept. 22 at the Bryant Conference Center. The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. It is open to all students.
