‘Saturday in the Park’ Continues at UA’s Moundville Park
The University of Alabama’s Moundville Archaeological Park continues its Saturday in the Park program series into the fall. The events feature topics related to Southeastern Native Americans or archaeology, and many will include hands-on activities for children.
UA Community Service Center Seeks Nonprofit Partners for Volunteer Service Event

Ripple Effect is an annual freshman volunteer day that allows new and returning students to become acquainted with the Tuscaloosa community through service projects.
UA’s RISE Graduation Celebrates a Father’s Love for His Son
Eighteen students will graduate at RISE’s annual commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at the Stallings Center on The University of Alabama campus. One child’s father commuted daily from Tuscaloosa to Huntsville so his son could attend RISE.
