The University of Alabama’s University Fellows Experience is partnering for the fifth year with the community of Marion, Ala., in Perry County through Friday, May 24, on projects that address basic needs of the Black Belt community.
The Library School Association of the School of Library and Information Studies at The University of Alabama has announced the establishment of the Kate Webb Ragsdale Endowed Scholarship to honor the legacy of Kate Webb Ragsdale.

Some 750 University of Alabama students recently accepted membership and were initiated into Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for first-year students. The UA chapter also presented 25 scholarships to new members at the initiation ceremony.
