UA Career Fairs Bring More Than 160 Employers to Campus

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama is offering two Career Fairs for students on Wednesday, Sept. 18, and Thursday, Sept. 19, in Sellers Auditorium at the Bryant Conference Center.

The General Interest and Business Career Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m Sept. 18. The Technical and Engineering Career will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 19.

Students may discover career and internship opportunities in a variety of industries. More than 160 organizations will participate, including Mercedes-Benz, U.S. Steel, Verizon Communications, Microsoft, Regions Financial, Hertz Corp., General Motors, PepsiCo, ThyssenKrupp IT, Atlanta Hawks and Philips Arena, 3M Co., Georgia Pacific and AT&T.

Students should bring their Action Card and several copies of their resume. Organizers urge attendees to dress in a professional manner. Details are at www.career.ua.edu.
