UA Event Will Teach You How to Be a DJ

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama’s University Programs will host disc jockey lessons at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at The Ferguson Center.

The event, part of University Programs’ Discovery Series, will feature DJ Mahogany from WALJ 105.1 JAMZ. “Learn to DJ” attendees will find out how to DJ in a fun and interactive event. Faculty and staff members may participate as well.

“This series is focused on opening doors to learn something new,” said Brittney Lee, event programmer. “We wanted to provide people an opportunity to experience and learn a practical skill.”

Learn to DJ will be in room 300 of The Ferguson Center. People interested in participating should register at uaferguson.tix.com. UA students have a fee of $10; non-students, such as faculty, staff and Tuscaloosa community members, pay $15.
