UA Panhellenic Association Hosts Community Easter Egg Hunt

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Panhellenic Association will host its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 17, from 1 p.m. until the last egg is found on the front lawn of the UA President’s Mansion.

The Tuscaloosa community is invited to participate in the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance and there will be face painting. Families are encouraged to bring cameras for pictures. Junior Panhellenic delegates will be on site to assist the children.

“This is an event that the Alabama Panhellenic Association looks forward to every year because it gives us an opportunity to do something for the Tuscaloosa community and UA faculty and staff,” said Megan Hayes, director of programming for the event. “Greeks at UA really appreciate the support that is given to us by the city and this is an event we love to host for the community.”

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available behind Sorority Row.

In case of rain, the event will be canceled. If the hunt is canceled, all of the eggs will be donated to a local church to be used in their Easter festivities.
