TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Crossroads Community Center will host the first “Your Story … My Story,” a one-hour intercultural and interfaith conversation on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 4:30 p.m. in 301-B Ferguson Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
Crossroads Community Center’s interfaith and intercultural initiative is intended to encourage interfaith understanding and strengthen community ties. The event provides a venue where individuals can discuss their cultural and religious beliefs.
The Crossroads Community Center is an initiative of the UA Office of Community Affairs and is under the direction of Dr. Samory Pruitt, UA vice president for community affairs. Crossroads provides campus leadership in the areas of intercultural education and programming by promoting relationships across different cultures through innovative projects and events. Crossroads offers coordination for professional, multicultural dialogue and prepares students to better understand participation in a global society.
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join the Crossroads Community Center as they work to highlight the contributions of all cultures and to foster understanding within the UA community.
