TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama is hosting UA-RED (Recruitment of Educators) on Wednesday, April 13, for students and others interested in education careers.
Representatives of school systems from across the Southeast will be on campus to interview current teachers, all majors interested in teaching, education majors, and UA alumni for teaching positions in their areas.
More than 75 schools are expected to participate in this event. The event is free and will be held in the Ferguson Ballroom from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Participants will sign up for interviews from 9-10 a.m. Interviews will begin at 10 a.m. Dress is interview attire and attendees are encouraged to bring several résumés. Portfolio is optional.
