UA Welcomes Author Steve Tomasula

tomasulaTuscaloosa, Ala. – The Bankhead Visiting Writers Series welcomes author Steve Tomasula to The University of Alabama March 3 for a reading from his latest work at 7:30 p.m. in 205 Smith Hall.

Tomasula is the author of two novels, “VAS: An Opera in Flatland” and “IN & OZ.” His short fiction has been published widely, most recently in The Iowa Review, Fiction International and McSweeny’s.

Magazines in the United States and Europe have published his criticism and essays. He contributes often to The Review of Contemporary Fiction, American Book Review, Rain Taxi and electronic book review.

Tomasula holds a doctorate in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago and teaches at the University of Notre Dame.
