Flava Fest, an annual event sponsored by the International Students Association at The University of Alabama, will feature multicultural activities March 6-12.
Distinguished public relations alumni will return to The University of Alabama to share their insights into contemporary public relations practices, career opportunities and technological advances with current students at a Pre-Professional Public Relations Conference hosted by the Plank Center for Public Relations Studies. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will deliver the seventh Albritton Lecture at The University of Alabama School of Law on Monday, March 6, at 2 p.m. in Room 287-288 of the Law School.
Max Shores, director and producer at The University of Alabama Center for Television and Radio, will screen and discuss his documentary “Richard Johnston: Hill Country Troubadour” on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the UA Riverside Community Center.
In honor of Women’s History Month, students, faculty, staff and members of the community are invited to view the film “Rivers of Change: The Legacy of Five Unheralded Women in Montgomery and their Struggle for Justice and Dignity” on March 7 at 3 p.m. in The University of Alabama Ferguson Center Theater.
