The University of Alabama Center for Economic Development and partner organizations kick off the 2023 season of the 100 Alabama Miles Challenge on April 22 and invite the public to participate in planned events.
The annual Faculty Research Day will honor faculty members for their research, scholarship and creative contributions.
The UA RISE Center will host women’s and mixed doubles tennis tournaments and the RISE Tournament of Champions to aid in fundraising efforts to help its students reach their full potential.
UA will celebrate the achievements of outstanding students and faculty during Honors Week, April 3-7, culminating in the Tapping on the Mound ceremony on Honors Day.
A reception will be held in the authors’ honor at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The induction ceremony will immediately follow dinner.
The fun isn’t limited to spring break this month.
Stewart McLaurin will provide a talk about the history of the association and famous residence March 1 on the UA campus.
The Alabama Museum of Natural History and University of Alabama Graduate School are partnering to present Family Night at the Museum March 4.
An informational event is planned for Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Yellowhammer Room of Gorgas Library.
UA will hold spring commencement with eight ceremonies May 5-7 at Coleman Coliseum.
