UA’s Honors College Hosts One-Man Theatrical Performance

The University of Alabama Honors College presents Jhino “The Piper” Ferreira in his one-man play, “Cops and Robbers,” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, at Tuscaloosa River Market, 1900 Jack Warner Parkway. Ferreira, a rapper as well as a Bay Area police officer, plays 17 different characters in the play, which centers on a police shooting.

UA’s Honors Week 2015 to Include Tapping on the Mound

The University of Alabama will recognize the achievement of outstanding students and faculty during Honors Week activities on campus from Monday, March 30, to Sunday, April 5. The Tapping on the Mound ceremony, a tradition since the early 1900s, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, on the Mound at the west side of the UA Quad (rain location will be Moody Music Building Concert Hall).
