Dean’s List Students Named for UA Spring 2017 Term
A total of 11,101 students enrolled during the 2017 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).
UA Appoints Associate Provost for Academic Affairs
The University of Alabama has named Dr. Luoheng Han as associate provost for academic affairs. Han is a professor of geography at UA and senior associate dean of The College of Arts and Sciences.
Taylor Named UA’s Vice President and Associate Provost for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Dr. G. Christine Taylor will join The University of Alabama as vice president and associate provost for diversity, equity and inclusion beginning Aug. 1, pending approval by The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees.

UA Engineering Students Awarded Scholarships, Fellowships by NASA

Monthly Safety Reminder: What to Do in Case of a Medical Emergency
On the first Wednesday of each month (unless inclement weather is expected), the University tests its emergency notification systems, including UA alerts, the public address system and digital signage. In addition to notification tests, the University provides monthly safety tips and information to help the UA community be prepared in different types of emergency situations.
