The Coca-Cola Foundation renewed the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholars program at The University of Alabama for another four years with a gift of $1 million. The gift brings Coca-Cola’s contribution to the First Generation Scholars program, begun in 2006, to $3 million.

UA Community Services Center Offers SERVE Better Together Event
The University of Alabama Community Service Center will host the first SERVE Better Together event at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 15. The event is receiving support from the Target Foundation the UA Crossroads Community Center. The goal of the event is to create opportunities for improving intercultural relationships within a UA student body that grows more diverse each year and to promote a spirit of unity on campus and in the community.
