The University of Alabama proudly celebrates the Black students, alumni, faculty and staff who have shaped UA’s history and legacy through their contributions and accomplishments.

This week at The University of Alabama: UA and City of Tuscaloosa partner together to create a system that can automatically detect blighted areas; UA’s athletic training program moves into a new space; and the Realizing the Dream series will offer events throughout the year to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Increased sentinel testing, additional test sites and other modifications enhance UA’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
The scholarships will enable students to study abroad during the 2021-2022 academic year.
More than 13,000 students were named to the dean’s and president’s lists for fall 2020.
