Beginning Aug. 25, The University of Alabama’s College of Arts and Sciences Ambassadors will conduct a two-week-long campaign to promote The Rising Tide Scholarship, which will provide a helping hand to students facing a variety of challenges.

Greek Geologist to Discuss Volcanic Activity in UA Lecture

Dr. Spyros Pavlides, geologist and dean of the Faculty of Sciences at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, will present a lecture on geodynamic characteristics and volcanic activity in the southern Aegean Sea as part of a weeklong visit to The University of Alabama.
