Paul R. Jones, Founder of UA Jones Collection of American Art, Dies at 81

Noted art collector Paul R. Jones, a native of Bessemer, Ala., who built one of the largest collections of 20th Century African-American art — now the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art at The University of Alabama — died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Atlanta after a brief illness. He was 81.
