TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama Creative Campus arts initiative will unveil original art work created by student residents of the new Lakeside Residential Community on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Lakeside west lobby.
Students had the opportunity to create individual paintings for display in the residential area on campus. “We ran out of canvases,” said Abi Wright, Creative Campus intern, adding, “Students really got involved in this event.”
The unveiling event is open to the University community and general public. Refreshments will be served.
Completed pieces of art will be displayed in Lakeside and other residential communities after the event.
