TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — University Programs at The University of Alabama is presenting Comedy Central on campus Friday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Morgan Auditorium with popular comedians Christian Finnegan and Nick Thune.
The Comedy Central “Two for a Flinching Tour” features Finnegan, a stand-up comedian, writer and actor who is widely recognized as a panelist on VH1’s hit series “Best Week Ever” and as host of TV Land’s game show “Game Time.” His other credits include his own half-hour special “Comedy Central Presents: Christian Finnegan,” “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” NBC’s “Today Show,” and Comedy Central’s “Dave Chappelle Show.”
Also appearing with Finnegan is Thune, a comedian who has performed at the Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory and on HBO’s Comedy Arts Festival. Thune appeared in the 2006 movie “Unaccompanied Minors.”
Tickets are $3 for students, $5 for non-students and they will be available in Ferguson Center and at the door.
Show attendees will have the chance to win prizes and giveaways. There will also be a chance that the clips and images from the show may appear on Comedy Central’s national television channel and comedycentral.com.
University Programs is a student-run organization responsible for bringing events to campus.
