Holiday Decorations Around Campus December 16, 2019 Written by Jamon Smith 1 min read XFacebookLinkedInEmail Lovely all year, campus has a special beauty when the holiday decorations appear. Of course it wouldn’t be December without the tree in front of Rose Administration Building. Wreaths and ribbons are everywhere. Keeping the season bright. But it’s the garlands of magnolia leaves that take center stage at the President’s Mansion. Facilities and grounds staff carefully carry the long garland up the staircase. In addition to threading each magnolia leaf, red ribbons are tied into bows on the garland to give it the flare of the holiday season. The garland is stretched out before being installed. The finished decorations ready for the UA community to enjoy.
