TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Hannah Adams was announced as the 2024 Homecoming Queen of The University of Alabama during the annual pep rally and bonfire on the UA Quad Oct. 25.
She is a senior from Birmingham majoring in public relations and political science on the CREATE Path to MBA.
Adams is a member of this year’s inaugural class of Shelby Scholars, the Blackburn Institute and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. A childhood cancer survivor, Adams founded the non-profit H.U.G.S. 4 Childhood Cancer with her family.
“Over the past three years as a student, I have developed a deep love and appreciation for The University of Alabama. From pursuing dual degrees, running my own non-profit and collaborating with various university organizations, my hope is to connect with all students and inspire them to have hearts of service,” Adams said.
This year’s election saw a voter turnout of 9,776 students. Adams will officially be crowned by UA President Stuart R. Bell during halftime of Saturday’s Alabama-Missouri football game that kicks off at 2:45 p.m.
