The group is open to students, faculty staff from UA, Shelton State Community College and Stillman College, and citizens across West Alabama.
The fundraising event raised over $6,000 for the SGA’s Joe Espy Needs-Based Scholarship to help students in need of financial assistance.
The program aims to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the University’s data operations.
The week honors the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965, which opened opportunities to low-income and first-generation students.
Adams will officially be crowned during halftime of Saturday’s Alabama-Missouri football game.
The Battle of the Bands raises funds for the Student Government Association’s Joe Espy Needs-Based Scholarship.
An open house event at the BamaCares Pantry is planned for Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to moon.
Events planned throughout the week culminate with the bonfire, pep rally and drone light show on Friday.
The winner will be announced during the annual homecoming bonfire on The University of Alabama Quad Friday, Oct. 25, at 6:30 p.m.
