Meet Finalists for Vice President for Research, Economic Development

Members of the UA campus community are invited to attend presentations by the five finalists for the position of vice president for research and economic development starting Nov. 6. 

Each candidate will engage with several student, staff and faculty groups and make a presentation to the campus community. Presentations by the candidates, followed by question-and-answer sessions moderated by search committee chair Dr. Cliff Henderson, will take place in 140 Law School on the following dates and times: 

  • Nov. 6, 8:30 a.m.
  • Nov. 9, 8:30 a.m.
  • Nov. 13, 8:30 a.m.
  • Nov. 15, 8:30 a.m.
  • Nov. 16, 8:30 a.m.

The presentations will be recorded and posted on the vice president for research and economic development search website as they are available. All information will be available via Box and remain on the website until 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20. 

Candidate information, including CV and feedback forms for the five candidates, is available on the vice president for research and economic development search website. UA faculty, staff and students can access the information via Box. The materials will remain on the website until Nov. 20. 

Feedback forms should be completed before 5 p.m. on Nov. 20 as well. 

The Office for Research and Economic Development oversees a variety of interdisciplinary units that collaborate with faculty, staff, students and external partners to catalyze, support and safeguard research and scholarship activity.
