UA Participates in ACHE Free App Week

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama will take part in the Alabama Commission on Higher Education’s Free App Week Feb. 20-24.

UA Undergraduate Admissions will offer an application fee waiver to Alabama residents applying to enter as freshmen or transfer students in the summer or fall 2023 semesters.

“The spring free application week is essential to UA’s mission of serving the state of Alabama by giving students the opportunity to consider us as their college choice,” said Dr. Matt McLendon, associate vice president and executive director for enrollment management. “If any Alabama student is still unsure on whether or not to apply to UA, free app week is a great chance to see if we are the right fit for you.”

To receive instructions on how to submit an undergraduate application for free, applicants must first submit their contact information on the Undergraduate Admissions’ Free App Week page.

Prospective undergraduate students must submit their applications by 11:59 p.m. CST Feb. 24 to waive their application fee.

For more information on requirements for undergraduate admission, visit UA’s freshman and transfer requirements pages.
