Event Spotlights Student Research, Creativity March 30, 2018 Written by Adam Jones 1 min read TwitterFacebookLinkedInEmail The 11th Annual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference was in the Ferguson Center March 29-30. Students competed for cash prizes in presenting and defending their research projects to judges during the post presentations. The conference spurs interest in research among undergraduate students and helps students polish their communication skills. This year the poster presentations were grouped by research areas, instead of by academic colleges or departments. About 450 undergraduate students participated in the URCA. About 125 graduate students served as judges for this year’s conference.
