The conference spurs interest in research among undergraduate students and helps students polish their communication skills.
About 450 undergraduate students participated in the URCA.
This year the poster presentations were grouped by research areas, instead of by academic colleges or departments.
Students competed for cash prizes in presenting and defending their research projects to judges during the post presentations.
About 125 graduate students served as judges for this year’s conference.
The 11th Annual Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference was in the Ferguson Center March 29-30.
