Junior Candice Ji, a University of Alabama advertising major, was named winner of an annual district scholarship awarded to outstanding minority students.
Dr. Trudier Harris, professor of English at The University of Alabama, has been named a University Distinguished Research Professor by the UA Board of Trustees.
