Greek Geologist to Discuss Volcanic Activity in UA Lecture

Dr. Spyros Pavlides, geologist and dean of the Faculty of Sciences at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece, will present a lecture on geodynamic characteristics and volcanic activity in the southern Aegean Sea as part of a weeklong visit to The University of Alabama.

UA Community Services Center Offers SERVE Better Together Event

The University of Alabama Community Service Center will host the first SERVE Better Together event at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 15. The event is receiving support from the Target Foundation the UA Crossroads Community Center. The goal of the event is to create opportunities for improving intercultural relationships within a UA student body that grows more diverse each year and to promote a spirit of unity on campus and in the community.
