UA Panhellenic Association to Host Annual Easter Egg Hunt

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Panhellenic Association invites the Tuscaloosa community to participate in its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, on the front lawn of the UA President’s Mansion.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will offer refreshments by Bama Dining and candy-filled eggs for children 12 and younger  to hunt. The Easter Bunny will be on hand; parents are encouraged to bring their cameras for pictures.

“The Panhellenic Association always looks forward to hosting this event for the Tuscaloosa community,” said Sydney Everett, director of educational programming for the association. “It is a fun way to meet the families in our area and the kids always love hunting for the eggs.”

Sorority representatives organized through the APA Junior Panhellenic Delegate program will provide the eggs. They also will help to manage the event and assist the Easter Bunny in hiding the eggs.

“The Easter Egg Hunt is our way to give back to the community and say thank you,” Everett said. “We appreciate all of the support we receive and hope everyone enjoys this event as much as we enjoy putting it on.”

Parking will be available behind sorority row. Participants are asked not to park behind the President’s Mansion. The hunt will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
