A luncheon honoring The University of Alabama’s 2009-2010 Coca-Cola First Generation Scholars is scheduled for Tuesday, March 23 beginning at noon in Smith Hall.
The University of Alabama Community Service Center will present $10,000 to the West Alabama Chapter of the American Red Cross on Tuesday, March 23, at 2 p.m. in the Ferguson Center TV lounge.The donation came from the work of Tray Smith, a UA freshman, as part of Haiti outreach efforts on campus.
The University of Alabama Panhellenic Association will host its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 28, from 2-4 p.m. on the front lawn of the UA President’s Mansion.
During a Smith Hall Homecoming celebration from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 10, a time capsule placed in the hall’s cornerstone will be opened. The event celebrates the 100th anniversary of Smith Hall, home of UA Museums’ Alabama Museum of Natural History.
