TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama Intercultural Council is hosting Crimson Culture Week April 19-24 to celebrate campus diversity.
Crimson Culture Week events are free and open to the public. The events will showcase the different cultures on campus through community, conversation and arts.
The week will include:
Monday – Kickoff event and community service project, noon, Crossroads Community, Ferguson Center
Tuesday – Art Night, 7 p.m., Ferguson Center
Wednesday – Discussion led by Andrew Goldberg, writer for “Family Guy,” 7 p.m., Ferguson Center east dining room
Thursday – Documentary movie screening and cultural dining event, 7 p.m., Fresh Food and Ferguson Theater
Friday – Slash Pine Poetry Festival, 3-5 p.m. at Gorgas House lawn, 7-10 p.m. at Kentuck Center courtyard in Northport
Saturday – Slash Pine Poetry Festival, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Woods Quad, 3-5 p.m. at Little Willie’s in downtown Tuscaloosa.
More than 88 countries and ethnicities are represented at UA.
