Attorney General Candidates Forum to be Hosted by UA Honors College

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A public debate featuring the attorney general candidates in Alabama will be presented as part of The University of Alabama Honors College Lecture Series on Thursday, April 1, from 7- 8:30 p.m. in the Bryant Conference Center Sellers Auditorium.

Questions developed by UA students will be videotaped before the event and posed directly to the candidates during the debate, allowing students an opportunity to engage the political process.

The event will feature candidates for attorney general from both major political parties in Alabama, and it is expected to be the only forum in the state to feature all candidates.

The event is free and open to the public. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event is co-sponsored by the UA School of Law and the Blackburn Institute.
