UA’s Chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America to Host Regional Activity

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America will host “The Eth-X Factor” Saturday, Feb. 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bryant Conference Center.RAlogo

The Eth-X (pronounced ethics) Factor will explore ethical leadership in the practice of public relations. Event sessions provide valuable insight regarding ethics in various fields related to public relations, such as health care, social media, tourism, sports, business etiquette and more.

Each spring, local PRSSA chapters plan, staff and host regional activities. The regional activity also presents an opportunity to network with public relations professionals and students. Networking opportunities will also be available with attending members of the Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations and the Alabama PRSA chapter.

An information fair will also be available for attendees to find out more about internships, scholarships and job opportunities throughout the region.

The Public Relations Student Society of America serves students across the country by enhancing their knowledge of public relations and providing access to professional development opportunities.
