UA’s University Supply Store to Hold Spring Graduation Celebration March 24-26

The University Supply Store will hold its spring 2009 University of Alabama Graduation Celebration on Tuesday-Thursday, March 24-26 in the Ferguson Center Ballroom from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day. The Graduation Celebration is designed to be a one-stop shopping and preparation venue for students who plan to graduate in May 2009.

High School Students to Visit UA for German Day

The University of Alabama will host its annual High School German Day on Monday, March 2 at the Ferguson Center with some 350 high school students from across the state expected to be on campus to participate in the event.

The University of Alabama Libraries is sponsoring a Book Collecting Contest for UA students this semester. The contest aims to promote reading and interest in book collecting.

Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art Exhibit Opens at UA, Stillman College

One of the world’s largest collections of 20th-century African-American Art, the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art, will be on display at The University of Alabama and Stillman College in March. It will be the first UA exhibition of the collection since Jones donated it to the University in October 2008.
