TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Getting in the holiday spirit on The University of Alabama campus will be as easy as taking a stroll down sorority and fraternity rows this year to take part in a new event called Crimson Tidings.
On Sunday, Dec. 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., Alpha Delta Pi sorority, partnered with the UA Panhellenic Association and Interfraternity Council, will sponsor Crimson Tidings. The event, for which tickets will be sold as a philanthropic fundraiser, will feature a self-guided tour of Greek houses decorated for the holidays along with a souvenir booklet.
Circle K will also have their Luminaries on the Quad event from 5-11 p.m. on Dec. 7.
Admission to Crimson Tidings is $10 for UA students and faculty and staff and $15 for the general public. Tickets are available for purchase through the Web site www.crimsontidings.com. Using the Web site, you must print a confirmation page and bring it to the Alpha Delta Pi house to receive a wristband and informational booklet. The proceeds from the event will be split among the sororities and fraternities involved to be given to the philanthropy of their choice.
