Bryant Academic Center on The University of Alabama campus.

UA SPIRIT Campaign Swipe Week Begins Sept. 15

The University of Alabama SGA Student SPIRIT Campaign will hold its first 2008 “Swipe Week” Sept. 15-19 giving University of Alabama students a chance to show their school spirit by swiping their ACTion cards to make small contributions to a UA scholarship fund for first-in-family college students.

Uproarious Backstage Comedy ‘Moon Over Buffalo’ Launches UA Theatre Season with a Bunch of Laughs

Ken Ludwig’s zany backstage comedy, “Moon Over Buffalo,” takes the stage Tuesday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Sept. 28 at The University of Alabama’s Gallaway Theatre. The play is a production of the department of theatre and dance, part of UA’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Reznick Group PC Pledges $125,000 to UA School of Accountancy

Reznick Group PC, a national accounting firm, has pledged $125,000 to The University of Alabama in support of the Culverhouse College of Commerce and its Culverhouse School of Accountancy. UA’s Rural Medical Scholars Program Adds Agricultural Safety and Health Components

The Rural Medical Scholars Program at The University of Alabama is now working with The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Deep South Center for Occupational Safety and Health to add an agricultural safety and health component to the master’s degree curriculum of the program.
