The University of Alabama College of Engineering’s degree programs have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET Inc., the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and technology.

‘American Idol’ Star to Appear at UA Culture Fest

Alabama’s “American Idol” star Ruben Studdard will be a featured guest at the Community Culture Fest on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. The event, sponsored by The University of Alabama Office of Community Affairs and Tuscaloosa Housing Authority, will be held from 2-6 p.m. at McKenzie (Hope VI) Community, 2700 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tuscaloosa.
