Two UA Law Students Receive National Honors

Two third-year students at The University of Alabama School of Law were honored this week by national legal associations for their respective accomplishments in contributing to the advancement of women in the legal profession and demonstrating excellence in clinical fieldwork.

ASF to Become Independent, According to Agreement with UA

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Inc. (ASF) board of directors and The University of Alabama have reached an agreement that will consolidate decision-making authority for ASF under the ASF board of directors. UA will recommend that ASF’s assets, including its land and buildings, be transferred from the ASF Finance Authority to ASF. Under the agreement, ASF will become independent of UA, which has been its sponsor since 1993.

Partnership Between Faulkner State, UA Offers Nurses Mobility

Advanced nursing degrees are within easier reach for Baldwin County area registered nurses through a new Internet-based partnership between Faulkner State Community College and The University of Alabama’s Capstone College of Nursing.
