Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Dr. Steven L. Jacobs, Aaron Aronov Chair of Judiac Studies and chairman of Judaic studies in the religious studies department at The University of Alabama, will lead a discussion of “Bee Season,” April 21 at 7 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Gorgas Library on campus.
“Bee Season” by Myla Goldberg, is the last book in the discussion series “Let’s Talk About It! Jewish Literature: Identity and Imagination,” sponsored by University Libraries. The series offers participants an opportunity to explore Jewish literature and culture through scholar-led discussions of contemporary and classic books on a common theme, “A Mind of Her Own: Fathers and Daughters in a Changing World.”
