Rachel Stephens

Dr. Rachel Stephens is an assistant professor of art history at UA. Her research focuses on nineteenth-century American art, specifically southern art; race, representation and slavery; and Jacksonian-era portraiture. Dr. Stephens can converse about the visual culture of 19^th century American art.
