Spring 2015 Graduates Announced at UA
The University of Alabama will award some 4,714 degrees during winter commencement Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, on campus.
14 UA Graduates Receive Fulbright Awards for 2015-16
A record 14 University of Alabama graduates won Fulbright awards for 2015-16. Thirteen UA graduates won awards as teaching assistants to research and teach abroad, and one UA graduate received a Fulbright research award. The highly competitive Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study and research projects or for English teaching assistantships. More than 11,000 applicants compete for approximately 1,500 awards each year.
Two UA Students Named as Hollings Scholars
Two University of Alabama students in the College of Engineering will receive the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship for 2015-2017.
