Dr. Sylviane Diouf, curator for the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York, will give two lectures on her award-winning research and writing at The University of Alabama on Nov. 12 and 13.

The University of Alabama Junior Panhellenic Council is hosting their annual Sorority Row Trick-or-Treat event open to all local children on Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m.
The competition has begun in the 14th annual Beat Auburn Beat Hunger Food Fight being held at The University of Alabama until Nov. 15.
