The Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Commission’s time capsule committee has met periodically to discuss themes and items that truly represent Tuscaloosa in 2019 to place in a time capsule that will be sealed for 50 years.
The yearlong celebration of Tuscaloosa’s bicentennial will culminate with the unveiling of three landmarks celebrating the city’s past, present and future on Tuscaloosa’s 200th birthday.
Thanks to help from The University of Alabama, Choctaw County Schools was awarded a $2.8 million School Climate Transformation Grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
