One of the world’s most famous rocks – a meteorite that struck an Alabama woman 50 years ago this month – is the subject of a Nov. 30 presentation sponsored by The University of Alabama’s Alabama Museum of Natural History, home to the legendary stone.

Author William Doty will Give Book Talk at UA

University Libraries invites the public to a book talk and reading by Dr. William Doty, professor emeritus of religion at The University of Alabama, at 4 p.m. Nov. 11 on the second floor of Gorgas Library. He is the author of recently published books, “Jacking in to the Matrix Franchise” and “Myth: A Handbook.”
