The University of Alabama’s astronomy department will host its fourth free public sky viewing of the spring 2005 season at 8 p.m., Friday, April 8. The viewing will focus on the planets Jupiter and Saturn.
The University of Alabama will host the American Society of Civil Engineers Southeast conference on April 8-9. The Southeast regional conference is the largest ASCE conference in the nation.
The Bankhead Visiting Writers Series at The University of Alabama will feature poet Eliot Weinberger reading from his latest work in Room 200 of the Bryant Conference Center at 7:30 p.m. on April 7.
The department of religious studies at The University of Alabama is hosting “The African Diaspora and the Study of Religion” conference on April 7-8 at the Bryant Conference Center. The conference is free and open to the public.
Parking Services at The University of Alabama is sponsoring a car wash for all holders of UA parking permits on Wednesday, March 23, from 1-3 p.m. at the Campus Drive parking deck by Shelby Hall.
