The University of Alabama’s astronomy department will host its fourth free public sky viewing of the spring 2005 season at 8 p.m., Friday, April 8. The viewing will focus on the planets Jupiter and Saturn.

The University of Alabama will host the American Society of Civil Engineers Southeast conference on April 8-9. The Southeast regional conference is the largest ASCE conference in the nation.

Some Implications of Boomers’ Rising Costs for American Society in Coming Decades,” Monday, March 14 at noon in 104 Little Hall on The University of Alabama campus.
UA Alumni Association to Host A-Day Weekend Events
The University of Alabama National Alumni Association (NAA) has announced the schedule of Alumni Weekend activities for the Class of 1955 and the Golden Fifties Club (alumni who graduated prior to 1955) to be held during the annual A-Day weekend, March 18-19.
